I've read a few reviews that the sound quality of the new Pioneer's aren't as good as the Technics or V6's/7506. Gluegun has the link to where a guy has reviewed them all...
The Technics are less likely to break than any of the Sony's as it does have a very strong structure.. and if you do opt for them the silver 1210's are better because of less plastuc and more metal..!
The cups are also smaller then usual, but if it suits you then go for it! I say that if you want sound quality, Sony V6/7506, strutcure and blockage and loudness, the Technics

I said that sony mdrv700 suX..A lot of people told me so ,and that how i conculded that they suck!
but for mdrv6 I said that I don't like them because they are sony and thats not childish because sony is commercial shit in most of things..AND i didn't say that these headphones suck because I heard that they are very good...but If I am ask if I would buy them...I wouldn't!!
IMHO most of the products from Sony Electronics - and especially SonyStyle - are craptacular. You see, Sony itself has so many divisions that it's embarrassing to keep track of all of them.
