just do a search on "The Melbourne Shuffle" and then figure it out that way...
No doubt the most brilliant cultural dance movement, "The Melbourne Shuffle" has even taken itself to the UK since late 2000...I read in a mix mag of a pictorial on how to do it...
All I can say is practice.....
And for those who think that they CANNOT dance for nutz, that's such a blatant Lie....
A simple grooving here and there, slow spin and what-not...doesn't matter how you look to other people...and be yourself!
And if you still think you cannot make it....do yourself a favour and go download the MPEG of the Melbourne Shuffle....looks tricky....but all you have to do is simply slowly start by twisting your master foot and allow your other to follow....it's the same theory with your co-ordintaion of hands...I don't see the reason why you can type and NOT DANCE...
Dancing is an expression, a tight bond to electronic muzik and will forever be an activity that allows you, the player to play with others at the same level...
Ok misinterpretation...I dance, I just can't dance like the Melbourne shuffle or do "two step" for dnb etc. I wish...I will practice and thanks for the tip. Btw where did you get the tutorial on how to do the shuffle?

who says you can't dance to trance ? i've seen some sick moves before at parties back in 99 .. now due to over capacity venues like u hav at Guv, the only kinda dancing u can do is bob ur head ..
i mean check out videos of Sensation .. there's no way those people are just standing around
if there's one thing old raves did for this scene was give the people the opportunity to dance to the music .. that's what it was all about. i just wish we had more room at places like Guv ..

exactly! we need some room to dance! the guvernment is too money hungry to give us a breathable dance floor. Will it every exist again. I remember just last year I was able to see PVD with lots of room to dance my ass off. Those were the days....
I bet LadyLotus made this thread just to use the DancingDude message icon.

well, I really dont know where this will go. Im not the greatest organizer. and im busier than ever. But I guess the first step is meeting people. The question is, where do I meet everyone? The only thing I can think of is next month with Tiesto, because then i'll be free from school. Unless anyone else has any other ideas? Plus Ive never met anyone from this site. So this is all new to me.
If anyone has any suggestions. Keep'em comin.
Well, toodles for now
Thanks for all your imput!
sorry guys, i really wish I could. But It cant happen till Dec 6th or after, cause then I wont be a book worm. Hehehe.
But keep me posted on future date when other TA get together? Anyways, what is it like? do you guys all hang out in a big TA group? I always think meeting people online is really weird, I guess i like meeting people by chance.
