Well, I think for 1st time it's been pretty good ! Sorry I couldn't stay longer - had to be at Guv before 12, to use the guestlist.

1st DJ was pretty good.. Dropped some really wicked tunes !
First 20 minutes of Mecha that I heard were also pretty amazing !

Thanks to everybody involved in organizing this! It's great !

Don't be flippin' my man for somethin' that was put together for TAs by TAs.
Green? Pfffft...
It was the perfect opportunity to hear some music that you actually like, oh and btw...it was FREE before 11pm...
I don't remember being asked for cash??

Anyways, I'm not going to harp on this silly oberservation.
I think all anyone was asking was to come out and have a good time with some people of the same mind.
That is all.

Finally im awake enough to write my review of the night

firstly i would just like to thank hordash, mecha, and everyone else involved for a solid evening of amazing tunes

showed up at the club around 10:30 to hear precurser finish off his set with ligaya and awakening, i wish i could've caught more of his set but i had prior engagements that i had to attend to

next up was mecha dropping some solid progressive
now usually im not too much of a progressive fan as it tends to bore me a little, but mecha kept my head bopping the entire set
i was especially fond of his programming and how the set just flowed perfectly from start to finish

trancearmada came on next and he sure came out with a vengence
hard and relentless the whole way through
i remember hearing some talla and some marco v in there
wicked set

then it was time for me and eso to step up to the plate for a no holds barred battle to the death, which exactly what it was
things started off really shaky for me from trying to mix with one phone off and using the bassbin from across the room (damnnation for the lack of monitors ), but after i discovered the concept of cueing both tracks in the headphones...all hell broke loose

it was just slamming track after slamming track back and forth (well 3 for 3) between me and eso and the crowd seemed to be loving it, i sure know i was

i think i managed to play all the tracks i promised people i would play, if i didn't...my mistake

it was a pleasure playing with the talented eso and would love to do it again sometime

its too bad more people didn't show up, they sure missed out on one hell of a night
however granted it was only 2 weeks notice, i think there was a pretty decent turnout

and it was great finally being able to put some faces to some names
it was great meeting hordash, eso, lkd, mecha (well for the second time), trancearmada, and everyone else i met who i can't remember off hand

i haven't had that much fun in a long time
i rate it a 9/10, could've been a 10 if there was a few more people there...but hey...it was there loss

What can I say?
A perfect just amazing night, too bad not enough people are showed up, but again we still managed to get the crowd jumping and enjoying the music.

We (Armada, Hordash) get to the place round 8, waiting to rest of the crew to show up and help us with setting equipment, visuals and rest of the stuff. We had some problems with sound system but after all we managed to fix the existing problem.

Round 9:30 dj.precurser hit the decks and he dropped some solid trance tunes. Nice tracks selection and nice mixing.

I personally start spinning around 10:40, people slowly were feeling up the club. I have dropped all the progressive tunes, hoping to warm up and bumped a little bit the crowd, sending them to dark, bouncy but sweet porogressive trip.

Armada hit the decks just after 11:50 dropping hard, energatic, teck-house-trance set. wicked.......(first track ownes)

Then the highlight of the night, eso and kid lax back to back nice tracks selections superbing mixing. bravo guys....

overall the night was full of music but not full enough with people.

all the thx's are going to: HORDASH (thx for everything)
it was an honor to spin with precurser, armada, eso and kid lax.
elkd - thx for visuals.
and thx again to all TA's who showed up and support us, u guys rock.

thanx dude that really means a lot to me. I had the same responce from Eso. And I really apreciate that coming from both of you guys!

I loved your back to back set with ESO! You guys were just droping pure tunnage too.

Precurser droped an awesome set. Nice to start of the night with a few classics.

Mecha's progg set was definetly extremely good!!!! Love every single tune! Keep it up bro!

IT REALLY SUCKED THAT NOT A LOT OF TA's STAYED, but rather decided to go to Ornadel. But that again it's a personal choice many of you made.

Overall the night was OK, could have been a lot better. But we all learn from our mistakes.

But the music really made up for it. I love every single set @ Turbulence. Good job everyone.

Definetly props to Hordash, Mecha, Eso for everything!

Oh and major props to Firestarter for your positive vibe that your brought! Thanx a lot dude! That made my night!

And also props to LKD for all the help! Sorry that I could not play that Yahel track! But hopefully there will be a next time!

its pretty hard to plan a set when you're playing with someone who you have no idea what they're gonna play

i always go with the flow

Everyone,

Sorry I couldn't make it this weekend to Turbulance, it was near impossible for me to come down to TO from Waterloo that day.

But I want to contribute, so...

Congrats all the DJs, for the amazing sets, from what I heard.
I'll definetly be there next time, to get revenge!

Enjoy

i think the solution needs to start with this board and not with having people bring in women ..

obviously there's something about this forum that doesn't seem to attract a lotta women to post. i dunno if it's all the fighting we have here, the name of the site, or just the intimidation of having so many guys hit on a girl when she makes herself visible. and i know the problem is not trance, because i know a lotta girls who dig trance but don't post on TA for some reason .. i think a more extensive look is needed to address this in time ..

First off i gotta say...Halo20...there was no cash involved as far as im concerned. I dont do things for cash.. the statement about the women is something which i actually had the guts to admit...maybe uve never been to parties with only guys and it pisses the hell out of you but i have and we HAVE had other meetups and out of all the TAs there, i knew everyone personally except for kid lax and Rahvin which now i can say i do.

now...leaving ur unneccesary comments aside,

Was Rubyriva at turbulence???(just a question..cos of one of the posts earlier)

Now at Entrance 2 in December(approx. a month away) everyone gotta be there to support the likes of Eso and his team of djs

The TAs that came to turbulence that didnt stay cos of ornadel or other reasons, it was great that u guys showed up at least and showed ur support for the people u converse with here on TA

Oh and Eso..i kinda need that cable so whenever u can, maybe we can meetup and i can get it
