Just make sure that every transition isnt totally similar, that makes
it soo boring to listen to, always the same thing and you can
pretty much figure out exactly where the tune ends and so on.

Play around, mix as you would liek to hear it, dont be afraid to
try new stuff. I mean, you are practicing, you gotta screw up to learn, right ?

Play two tracks at the same time, mix in the first track, mix it
out again, spin back and mix in again.. just.. have fun.

dont forget to put the high level very low when you enter the tune and for practicing enter the tune slowly or else the mix is soo obvious
you got to fell its one tune always
when someone will listen to your mixs and they will not notice another tune as got in you can say it was a great mix

Onece you know the basics of mixing use you HI, MID and especially LOW! BUTTON whilst bringing it in with each bar.
