Awwww, you guys missed me...

Yes, I went to Bali. It was hot, which induced many hours in and beside the pool with beers. It was also quiet -- not many tourists there by day and even fewer by night. It's a real pity for the Balinese, who are really relying on tourism to increase so they can go on feeding their families.

On a brighter note, I went white-water rafting, and rode ELEPHANTS. Possibly one of the cooler things I've ever done. Anyhoo, I spent just on $600 for three island tours and all food and drink and shopping -- insanely cheap, and I wasn't holding back on anything. Longnecks for $1.20, stubbies for 80c: bring it on. All of you should go to Bali, cos there's just no reason not to.

i hear ya Dave, the police must of received some directive to get extra tight and be total pricks if neccessary.
