Just by the various sub/sub-sub-genres. So all the uplifting together, all the acid together, all the darker stuff together. Then with the labels where i have lots of records, eg, pulse, tracid, etc, I have them all together as well.

Currently the records and CD’s, both in my collection at home, and when I take out a selection, are in no order what so ever. I haven’t had any really huge problems finding anything, though it is very annoying when you just cant find that tune you really have to play next. However, I have a Database I’ve made of every Vinyl, CD and incidentally MP3 that I own and keep meaning to put them in some sort of organisational structure using this. The thing is I’m still unsure as to the best method. I think for the home collection I’ll sort alphabetically by Record Label, and in my box by style. Though I’m still open to suggestions.
