First off, I beleive your numbers on that Vette are a TAD off. A stock Vette, even the Z06 (the fastest production Vette right now) takes the 0-60 in just under 4 seconds (slightly OVER the Lamb's). Not to mention a top speed of a mere 170 mph. No where close to your 220. Now if you are talking some insanely hopped up Vette, then yes, it is possible that it will kill that Lamb's times and speeds, but then, couldn't you just hop up the Lamb and do the same? I want pictures and stats of a Vette (or any car for that matter!) that can do 220 and 0-60 in under 2 seconds so I can drool for hours. Not to mention a Vette is a fairly uncomfortable ride as compared to the impeccable air shocks of the Lamb. I've driven one of the new Vettes. They are fun, but at 220 you'd kill yourself in one. No way it would stay stable.
As for dream cars, ya, the Murcielago is in my top 10, but the new Shelby and that Farrari Maranello shown in an above post are both above the Lamb, though below my ultimate dream of a Bently Azure Purple Edition. |
You're kinda right and kinda wrong. Chevy doesn't make the fastest production vette. The John Jingenfelter LS1 427 TT does 0-60 in about 2.3 seconds I believe. And the 1/4 in about 8. And they had a top speed of 226 MPH. This is on a stock body Vette too. Just the engine was modded. So it wasn't a true production car from Chevy, but it's a production car. Also, the sledgehammer corvette that Lingenfelter made did 243mph for a top speed. Just a heads up for you guys. And the new 50th ani. vette rides on a magnetic suspension, so it's like riding in a Caddy. This is only on the 50th ani too. I wouldn't want a soft ride in a vette, you don't buy a vette for a plush ride. My camaro is rough as heck and I love feeling every crack of the road. Gives you more of a sense of your environment.
By the way biznology, nice EVO.
