Glad someone brought this thread back to life.. I'm still after the original mix ...at least a clean 320 kbps mp3 would do well
Oh and for thos who cares... Taste Experience is coming out with their new album scheduled to be released this month on Blackhole!
the album has been released in USA like about a month ago already, but not on black hole though! can't remember what label was it either though, but it's released!

in the oakey 99 emix tour thread here, someone who posted under the name "mainline" was very helpful and posted some good info but on his first post he posted this

and i have no idea how he thought so but after that, oakeywhores got into their heads that the original mix was infact a tastexperience mix, or produced by tastexperience when fact of the matter was they had nothing to do with the record.

Is it wrong for me to seriously dislike most of this artist's body of work? I've heard too many awkwardly phrased verses and absurd choruses coming out of her mouth to really take her seriously.

To each their own I guess. =)

Incorrect! If I dislike her then you must and if you don't, I will force my opinion on you.
yeah i'd say jan's been involved some very cheesy songs in the past, but take into account the vocalists that were around in mid to late 90s, the tracks her vocals were laid over (and thus the jocks that promoted those tracks) and it's pretty obvious why she became "famous."
for the most part i've not been a fan of jan's "work" post 2003/2004 (with some exceptions).

I don't think I like anything with Jan Johnston's vocals on. I was going to make an exception for BT's Dreaming, but those vocals are mostly from Kirsty Hawkshaw.
