Your brain gets fucked up as well as your breathing, you cough all the time and the number of ppl that die each year from cancer because of smoking are enormous. 6.You piss off ppl around you that don't smoke. Drugs: 1.Cost a shitload of money which could be used in a million of better ways. 2.As I said fucks up your body, mind, social life... 3.Has side effects such as hallucinations, fear, anxiety, feeling of lonelyness, makes you feel sick, fucked up, physical body pain and many more which I don't know of since I am no expert in this area. 4.Could lead to death if an overdose is taken or if there is some kind of alergy. 5.When addicted the luck of the drug leads to the addict actiong like a psycho, basicaly the body is controlled by the drug and not the person. 6.While drugged the user may get involved in 'violent' actions without realising what he is doing. Now lets see what are the pros: Smoking - cool factor, immature kids trying to be 'hip' or 'in' (no offence, thats the way it is) Drugs - users claim to expirience a feeling of 'euphoria' while under the influence of drugs which in my opinion is relatively nothing compared to the fucked up feeling you get later on I'd like ppl who take drugs/smoke to take part in this but also ppl that don't, and please don't be immature and start flaming with stupid posts the likes of 'stfu drugs/smoking rules' pls back up your opinion.

I don't have a problem with anyone smoking, or drinking or doing drugs around me, provided it doesn't provide an immediate risk to my health or well being(someone smoking right next to me, is annoying, someone crashing into my car while drunk is another.) It's your lives and its fine. My one question is what prompts people to smoke? I understand some stuff but I've never quite found a reason that makes sense to smoke cigs, note this is curiosity, not an accusation.

Its a awfull addiction. U smoke for the first time but its nasty. then u smoke some more then finally u become addicted, Luckily i stopped that wank habbit. Nictotene is a shit drug to get addicted to, u got to give credit to the coke and smack addicts cos least the drug there addicted to gives them a mass amout of pleasure more than a measly ciggarette lol.

I don't think that doing drugs or smoking is bad. It's just that it can be so bad when you start to let your self get fucked up from it. I had friends go crazy and i would say it did have something to do with to much drugs. but doing them in moderation is not what made them crazy it being addicted. Its just the addiction thats fucking this world up. Everyone is addicted to some thing or another. Going to the gym so much that it takes over your life is no different than being a pot head.
I believe that if people know what they are doing and are still doing stuff that is destroying them selves its cause of one reason. Lack of SELF RESPECT. That is the number one reason that the world is looking so fucked up these days.

i would argue that this number stays relatively stable. sure the population increases, but drug users start, quit, die, etc. i dont think that the world is exponentially becoming more addicted to drugs. they have existed forever, and will continue to exist.

people have their reasons...and as you said you do not know anything about those reasons. and those reasons alone - and your proclamation doesnt make anyone 'bad'.

A view of my insights on this topic, there are many different attitudes of this subject from different people , from a general point of view, smoking is a nasty fookin habit , and so is gambling and so drinking and doing drugs , alot of people smoke these days , personally i do not smoke , i have tried it and never liked it, socailly most of my friends smoke around me and everyone i know , personally i cant stand the smell of smoke as for non smokers it can piss you off, as for smokers who wont realise that the smell is Rank,

Everyone is addicted to something , either its smoking , drinking or drugs and gambling , its all TAX to the goverment , science has proved that all of these drugs are bad for you, and can cause cancer which there is no cure and is a major killer.

The world is phucked up, only coz we make it phucked up , i think working 9-5 everyday in a boring office , for 40 years of your life , getting in traffic everyday , and only having 2 days to go out clubbing , yes its my choice , but i need to pay bills and survive.

I started reading the replies but I stopped as ppl started flaming and insulting me so I wont bother, guess I was expecting this

and I didn't make this thread to try and make people stop smoking or taking drugs, I just share my view which says that smoking/drugs are bad, but still so many ppl take them and I would like to know the reasons why they do it, not 'stfu you don't know shit about drugs' -

it didn't help you just said "drugs" in general, thats like grouping cannabis and heroin together, which as anyone with any knowledge whatsoever knows is just plain silly

umm i see more intelligent responses than simply flaming. just because you arent willing to concede that there may be viewpoints unlike your own doesnt mean people are flaming you. personally i dont care what you believe cause it doesnt affect me here and now. i suggest you find a better topic to DISCUSS if you are unwilling to discuss it yourself

and if you refer to what i was saying, i never told you to STFU. and i dont understand why you dont agree with people that say you dont know anything about drugs, you said so yourself!
