The closest I get to this problem is when I hear a new track I in a club that I love, then try to remember it in my head.
However if I ever actually hear it again I know immediately that I have heard it before.

Really, I think it's all about whether you can memorize things or not. Some people can, some can't. And me, I'm one of the people who can't! lol
