im told that this is the movie out of the three, that diverges from the book the most. itll be interesting to see how many changes there are.
i mirror someone else's sentiment about how the movies take out all the unimportant parts of the books. i just dont enjoy reading 4 pages describing a place.. id rather see it. the movie helped iron out a lot of the wrinkles i had about the book... explained it a bit more.. and is making the second book easier for me to read again (before seeing the movie!)

i liked reading the book called The Hobbit, kicked ass it did I never read books and I think that was the last one, about a year ago now..

I'm seeing it next Tues w/ my family, can't wait.
Heard it is really good but Peter Jackson too lots of plot/mood/story etc. out to make room for more action. Not as faithful to the book as the first one. Well that's what Ebert told me at least...
