HEY EVERYONE!! hi! !!
i read everything uve been sayin, and i kinda have to agree with day_for_night cause different artists have different speeds... like u said some artists work up to 2 months on a song and some finish a song in 19 hours... all depends on the person's patience and concentration i guess... i dunno!!! ignore me..lol! ANYHOW!!!! im back just for a bit... ...been workin on the song for 10 hours solid now... and ive got the main frame of the song done... i have gotta work on it TONS more though, but i am doing what all of u have said...

I have:

1) made the bass vary in different parts of the song and have different tones
2) done several filter sweeps
3) used pads to fill the song
4) rememoved all the silent/quiet bits
5) have many more things going on in the background other then the bassdrum and hats

thats all i can think of....lol!!! but ive tried to do everything u ppl said anyhow, i made a tiny sample...tell me if it needs more pads, bass, whatever!... tell me whats missing!... THANX!!!

Yea it sounds all right so far Yevat nice and dark if you like it like that , but you didn`t give a big enough sample the song just started when it finished . 100% on the last one . I would give you 5 out of 10 but thats just me . When I first started producing I would finsh a song in 3-4 hours but I have learnt the longer you take { 2-3months in my case } the better the end product . Remember time reveals all mistakes .

well where the sample starts, the song is about 2 minutes inwards, and where the sample ends is about where ive got to in the song so far lol, the song should be round 5-6 mins long at the end...
