so the stantons cannot hold a constant speed then? do they slip like belt drives? cos aint they direct drive!

i enjoy using the stanton str8-80's. they are my first tables, and they are what i learned on (and am still learning). they are indeed quite sensitive, just make sure you just make small corrections. have u seen the str8-100's? go to www.stantonmagnetics.com

yeah i seen the str8 100s but just wasnt sure what the differences where! i saw the str8 80 specs and they looked pretty decent! i also noticed they had more torque than the techs but wasnt entirely sure if this was just startup torque and not constant torque!

do they slip badly or do they hold pretty well?
