I find it funny that a hell of a lot of remixes out there sound absolutely nothing like the original except for one or two small elements, like vocals or melody... what's the point of calling it a remix???

haha cause they'll get sued if they just take the lyrics or melody. I'm gonna second delerium - silence (tiesto rmx), but then I love all versions of this song hehe.

I have to agree that Delerium's remix of silence is one hell of a wicked ass tune. But the one that tops my list i think is Rising Star-Touch Me (VDM remix)

I thought the subject of this topic was an okay tune that had been turned into a killer by a brilliant remix. If you've ever heard it you should know the original Vengaboys "Kiss" was an absolutely awful pile of shit! Saints and Sinners did a wicked remix of Santos - Camels, but dunno if I'd call it trance. More popular trance that I'd winged about. Their remix added a lot more beef to the track and shows the quality of their remixing.

Yeah, lol.. that's true. I don't know why they do that... i thought of this the other day, and maybe they are doing it to get their tunes more published, since artists like the vengaboys sell helluva lot more than say transa

Can't think of another reason to make a new song and stick on another artists name on it, and make it a remix
