never by a car from relatives

hmmm, i did that. i bought my car from my brother, for $1.00US. it is soooooooo ugly, faded paint, dents, etc. that his wife wanted it out of the drive. he was planning on repainting/repairing it and gonna keep driving it but i got it now, 1991 Corsica, battleship gray, with a few more dents than when i got it, LOL. it still runs and now i have a husband who can fix it. and yep, insurance is cheap!

I wouldn't say this is true. I'm getting a 1990 Acura Integra GS off of my grandparents. It's only got 67,000 miles and leather interior...quite a gem if you ask me. They have had absolutely no problems with it at all.
