yeah, when i was first buying my stuff, i was lead to believe that trackmasters were better than groove masters. I guess that is not true? anyway, yeah if you want to send me some of your stylus so i can try for an experiment that would be great.

i just switched the stanton ones for the spare set they sound good now, but not as good as i'd like.

if you say the sounds are totally different, then what is the difference?

Like Phu said more Bass.

Had two unplayed Eon-Talk to me(Tsunami)Records... its the B-side of Eon-Pocket Damage. Let me tell you that this is the Most Incredible "Intro" Tune I have heard in Years! Still even to the Cristalle Intro. The Sound Quality Ferry Mastered outta this song is one of the best I have ever heard. The first time I heard it I knew after 10 sec. that this was the BOMB I was gonna start with at that chillawack outdoor gig last summer, forgot the name

Anyways....

With the Groove and the Track side by side, the Trackmaster went first(no mixing of course). It sounded good, not any diff from most good Headshell types. I wouldn't complain if they were used where I go.

Then I started the Groove II's. When that first Bass and Pipe Note hit on that tune you could hear right away the difference. The Bass was lower, more refined and musical. You hear Separated Bass notes. It blew me away BIGTIME with the difference. The songs had more dynamic range

Forgot to mention his Trackmasters were brand spanking new. My Groove II's had half expired Stylii on them. They have seen many needle replacements meaning there not NEW!!

I looked at my buddy and said you saved $50.00, got two free stylii and that fancy case. Cool!!!
