Spectrasonics Atmosphere has some fantastic sounding strings. I particularly like "Dreamy string orchestra", "Dark and moody string orchestra" and "Hollywood studio string section". Mind you, I think the default attack setting is a little too high, so I would recommend you lower it to something more like 0.2sec.
