I know what you mean when you say emotional uplifting is a bit of a turn off, cause it has gotten to that point for me too, but you should realize that its not the music's fault. It's still great music its just that you probably overplayed it like I did and like I think many other people did. I think uplifting trance is the easiest music to overplay (compared to progressive or psy for example).

i'm still addicted as ever.. but getting more into chilled stuff like Solar Stone than euphoric uplifting really.

Yeah, I still like uplifting, it's just I've over=dosed on it and need a break from it for a while. I guess it's back To my Digweed and Max Graham for a while. I haven't explored any breaks yet (beyond a couple of Hybrid tunes), maybe I should start.

This comment is probably from personal taste and some ignorance, but most of the time I get tired of psy in the middle of the first track

I fully agree, but I find having a break from it does work, and it all comes flooding back! shivvers and all!!

Youre not permanently losing interest in emotional tracks. Its just a phase. You got tired of it and now youre listening to non-emotional tracks. Later you might get tired and listen to harder stuff, and then later on you might get tired of that and listen to more progressive stuff, then after that you might get tired of progressive and go back to your emotional tracks. Its all part of the phases of only listening to electronic music.

Honestly i still love it. But i've always listend to all types of music so I'm not bored in anyway. To me as long as the music is great, i'll listen to it. For some reason I have wide tastes. I like all styles, but quality of course, not shite that a lot recently has been coming out.

cheers
