Ehn, sorry, as a designer, I think it could use some work. I'm not saying mine is better but there a few things i don;t like (visually) about it.

In the circle bit, there are two diagonals happening which is "visually" confusing and, the TA is not centered well. It is a lil bottom heavy. I don't know what the dot is either.

The word "trancEaddict" has some letter spacing issues and i think the bevel and emboss looks cheap. Its also the fact that its stronger on the wrod than on the logo. It could just be the background colour.. but it ya. And the Caps E, i sill don't get unless it implies the drug, it looks strange.

Thats my rant! sorry if im too critical but thats how i see it. If someone has the photoshop file, and i can toy with it, i can show you what i mean.

good old swamp designed that and i dont think he'd be too pleased to read what u wrote...however i did notice the weight towards the bottom initially but i think it adds a slight off focus effect and when a company designs itsw logo , u have no say in what it should look like..similarly i thinku sit ur ass down and pipe down

art doesn't have to have guidelines but there are many unwritten rules about how things look compared to how the person intended it to look.

I'm studying how to critically discuss (not just art) but more specifically graphic design which is what the logo falls under so it can be visually deconstructed and reconstructed in a more appropriate manner. If swamper or you guys wanna take it personally then fine but thats not the intent. The intent is improvement. Anything can be improved and im not saying trash it but there are things that can be tweaked.

There is a very fine line between good design and great design, you get great design after the work is criticised and re-done.

I just wanna tinker with the thing, if who ever doesn't want me to then so be it.

rottweiler dude....we aint taking anything to hear to r watever...

see the logo has been that way for ages...long before u became a member...so if anything is changed now, its kinda like changing a part of u....we on TA have gotten acustomed to it and prefer it stayin that way...

ask swamper what he thinks....get it from the webmaster himself

the logo is fine as it is...its simple but gets to the point. Its alsonice on the eyes, that shade of blue goes great with the background of the board
