i disagree with the "you're a pussy if you cant do it naturally"
cuz really, the human body is not supposed to stay up during the night.

thus all this partying is quite unnatural. though many can do it, i must point out that everyone's constitution and biological clock are totally different. some people just sleep a lot. those people can't last a long time awake all night, and especially not while dancing as well. doesn't matter if they take a nap or whatever.
also, another factor are your regular sleep/waking times. if you're normal, and go sleep earlier than "usual", then staying up all night for a party is insanely difficult. on the other hand if you stay up till 3 am every night, then making the stretch 'till 8am+ isn't too much difficult.

So, 404 science, don't worry a single bit if it's hard to stay up, and certainly don't think that you're "unnatural."

i'd just suggest what some others have suggested - get a lot of sleep beforehand, and take plenty of breaks during the night - just make sure you don't fall asleep during them! (lol).
OH! and drink lots of water! keep your body hydrated (but that goes without saying). plus, what i find is a lifesaver, is if there are refreshments of some sort available. i remember ball en blanc last year in montreal, what SAVED me was eating that one apple. that was the best tasting apple ever. fruit does wonders!
