i use vtt, and to be honest, i'm rather fond of it. though i confess i use my djm 600 to mix with coz the eq's on the program are as u say "fucked". but yea, vtt i think grasps the basics of turn table usage and allows you to learn pure beat matching by ear. anyhow, no matter its bye bye PC mixing for me! i'm pickin up my 1200s on fridaY! 4 months of savin finally payin off! yippeeeee!

Oh and I mixed my mixes on
2x American DJ Direct Drive TT's
1x American DJ QMX1 Mixer (3 Channel)
1x Technics RPDJ 1210 Headphones
No matter what TT's and mixer you have, you can mix well on anything, make sure you have good headphones, you don't understand how much easier it is to mix with top notch headphones! I used to have like $60 ones and *vomit* I could never go back!
