Tiesto rocks!!!!
Its just that PvD rocks more!
Seriously though i saw them both in new york last year within like a month. when i left tiesto i was like "i now have a new favorite dj!"
Then after seeing PvD i said "well paul's my man again"

I like them both, they are just different. I think Paul's music is generally more danceable. As far as mixing goes, I think Paul's Amnesia 2002 set is one of the most well-mixed trance sets I've heard.
I think PvD is a little more picky about his selections. I like the tracks Tiesto plays, but sometimes it just seems he is throwing them down with much thought about how they will go together and continue the flow of the set.
It's just personal preference really. The only thing I know from my experience is that Paul's livesets are much more energetic.
*EDIT* By the way, name me some of the progressive tracks the Tiesto has been playing recently. I saw Tiesto play and then right after him Digweed came on, and I can tell you they were NOT playing the same kind of stuff all. I mean, I know Digweed's prog is a bit more on the Tribal side, but still, it was not even close.
