that is quite interesting and i think it is safe to say we can bring our own slip mats.
What is everyone's opinion on using the wax-paper sheet that comes with the turntables..... i use it all the time because i seems to work well... but i have never seen it used in any clubs.

any comments/suggestions on using this in the studio, as well as in the club??

the wax paper issue comes down to a matter of personal preference
if your mats are slippy enough, no need

esdjco makes some nice slipmats that are grippy on the record side and have a nice slippery felt side on the bottom
no need for wax paper with those bad boys

i have pitch bend on my ttz..
one thing about it: it sux! they just bend wayyy to much! just use the pitchslider to pitch it up a little bit, it works much better!
