hehe...
you know what I started with?

2 Walkman CD players (that's right!) and a mixer.

Forget about pitch control, you couldn't even start the CD in your Walkman immediately, it took like 3-4 secs for it to spin up to the proper place

And YET, I did manage to make some mixes! Really, I did! The transitions weren't too long but for 4-5 secs the two tracks were on at the same time and then I quickly faded one off.

ahhaha hey man i started of with the same thing!!! ahahaha i thought i was the only dude to do it. thats right no pitch control. but when i got my decks dam it was piss easy. ahahah
