wow...thanks for the story. It really gave me some inspiration. I'm normally a very socialable person when I'm around people that I'm comfortable with, but other than that I'm pretty closed off and I gotta get out of that.

Great story, it's good that you have changed so much since your earlier years of depression. Your willing to let everyone know this so people who might be going through something similar to what you were going through might be able to prevent such things from happening.
-Cheers

djSlain, i remember your stories you wrote some time ago, about being depressed and such...i remember, and i'm very glad things have turned around for you. there were times in my life when i'd be antisocial and fall into a mild depression sometimes in high school....- i was acually in this state of "mild" depression for about a year and a half after i graduated and worked 2 jobs before i went to college. didnt affect me too much, but to the point where i'd be antisocial. i made myself snap out of it, I made myself talk to people, and get to know people.
i'm a pretty happy guy now - got a good bunch of people around me...a REALLY good bunch of people. one of them is about the become one of the "ALL USA" students. now that's motivation...
well good luck with your business, my roomate plans to do somewhat the same thing - he's a comp. network specialists and owns his consulting biz - just up an running.
take care.

thank u all. i'm glad it's been a great read for you all. I am currently signed up to do a presentation at Venture Day Treatment next wednesday to speak about my history, my present ideas and my future hopes. It feels great to reach out to people
Are there any topics one would like to ask about my story? What you are seeing is almost like a "beta" document. I still want to add more insight or clear up any questions one might be curious to.
once again, thank you all for the support

thanks for the great story.. i too once suffered from depression, and i mustve spent months without going out, not talking to my family, vomiting after meals, and generally feeling like killing myself, and when i hear others talk about how they have been cured so to speak from there own depression i always feel like i can relate, and that makes me feel very good. Im very glad ur better now, and wish u luck for the future

thx for the story, good read, glad you are good again. this is insight on mild depression i have every so often, it made me realise that things could be worse and that its not as bad as i think it is. by telling your experiences, you are helping all of us who get depressed from time to time, thank you.
