And I'm so proud of it, so happy with them.
When I'm older I can say to my kids, listen to daddy's music, that was the best music of my life, I used to listen alldays to it .
I will always listen to music, I think the feeling will go away when ur older, but u got them and that's what counts

I agree with the kids bit. I've often wondered what my theoretical future kids would think of my collection - coz its huge. If I'm anything to go by I totally got into the 80's coz its what my parents listened to at the time - still love 80's choons now.

Get older: seems inevitable
Get married: i'd like to have a wife
Get a real job: 16 bucks an hour ain't gonna cut it if i want a house
Kids: sure why not, 2 or 3 shoudl do

so yes i do plan on getting older, married with children and advancing in the workplace!

ok, 159 GB of trance and chillout here. I'm afraid to even count the files...

P.S. Just got the cheapest 200 GB HD I could find. If you want one, Fry's has one right now on sale for $189 after rebates. (WD 200 GB SE 8MB buffer). Total space now: 580GB.

I have a different perspective on listening to my mp3's now that I produce my own tracks. Now every(most) track(s) is worth something again, a few months ago they were just taking up space unless I heard them, now they are archived for future use to get production ideas from. Agree with first post...downloading music and collecting it to say "check out my collection, I got all these kool songs" is a bit like collecting any other material. The worste is when you collect and dont even get to listen to all of the ones youve downloaded because your busy looking for the next ones to download. Enjoy your music and listen to it because you love it, and listen to what you enjoy, not what some Chart or someone says is great with their Hype.
