ok guys first of all i do not agree with al your "bad" comments because some of you only listened too the radio. Ok i agree with the fact that some of the djs such as gielen had old numbers but there was a fucking great atmosphere i really liked,it was a good night out and kai tracid just rocks,he was climbing his turntable when there was a remix of warmdushers hardcore will never die. that guy can interact with the audiance. and then there was the overall lighting etc,it was great not very special but it gave a good atmosphere.

so its about the party it self, if you only listen to the music on a radio station then you can better listen to a every week radio show such as ASTOT (thats always good) but if you are at Trance energy in real life then its very cool to hear zombie nation or other old tunes such as fire wire and you realise that the crowd goes wild, its just pure energy. some of your guys are only looking at mixing skills or trackselection but not at the overall event.if the mixing is not that good or some tracks are old then the event can still be very entertaining.

you damn critics it just about the fun, i will make a bed that a bunch of your guys will like it if you were there.

thats my point of view

(sorry about the bad english by the way)

trance energy is not about trance anymore. what a shame. this was one of my favorite events back in the day (2000 - early 2001) when it was still quality.

I think Innersh, uh, I mean Innercity still has a chance. But the other two have definitely bit the dust.

Just like many dutch TA'ers said the last few days, Trance Energy is the worst party in Holland.

yeah, i think you have a point there, but still all the people that are going there expects to hear what they haven't heard before, the djs should give them a "new experience" for the money. If they knew what was coming they could stay at home listening to old sets with the same djs instead...

i dont think the 2001 ones were bad. and i enjoyed the early january 2002 one. just the last 2 that hav been crap, and most of use are going by what we heard on the radio. Broadcasting such DJs as Tomcraft and Joop etc. dont give a fair representation of the whole event theres more to life than mp3s

I went to TE and imo it was very good
Except Tomcraft who didn't even bother to mix, at least so it seemed to me and of Joop's set I only heard the very beginning which was crap and a part of the end which was rather good. I have no clue of what was played in between as I was enjoying the beats that Kai Tracid was spinning
Kor Fijneman started (very) weak with a mix of madonna's last release and some other tiny tunes (he was spinning in the hard stage )but in the second part he played some damn fine hard tracks
And although it is very popular to keep saying how hard Johan Gielen sucks over and over and over again I thought his set, at least the first part was very good.
The female audience was also very fine

word mate!!!
you can´t jugde such a big event by sitting in front of your computer and listening to a losy 48 kb/s stream and say "wow he can´t beatmatch"...
i think you need to go to te and than u can jugde!

wow, can't believe i missed it, damn fruity loops

well, see what i've been trying to say with all my "trance is getting commercialized" posts? now we "lost" trance energy, innercity, and sensation (although i can't really judge for myself). i guess my only question is 'WHY?' what made the djs be as horrible as you describe?

trance for tranceaddicts
