Hey, Mortal Kombat bounced back from being nearly dead with the very impressive Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (MK5). The creators of MK will be working on this movie so there is still hope left.

man, the first movie kicked so much ass....MORTAL KOMBAT da da da da dada...i loved theme music for that

and the second one was so shit, i swear they just threw in characters left and right...so shit...hell they should have just rereleased the original and named it mk2...

While i've never played the game,
I've read mixed reviews on MK 5 - more negative then positive
so that's hardly saying that the game is 'impressive'
How good is it?


The director for the original MK movie will not be working on
the 3rd movie from what i've read. Supposedly the same director from the second movie.... yikes!
Games are different from movies. You can revive a damaged game franchise with a successful sequel - seems that the opposite is true
for movies - why that is, i'm not so sure.
