Steve | err.. exactly why do you want to use a program like Traktor to record your mixes? if you want to record mixes from your decks, i suggest you use a real recording program; such as Cool Edit Pro.
i think traktor will only record it's own output, or maybe what you set your recording device to in windows.

live mixes, the Dj plays whatever he wants & is playing different records based on a crowd's reaction.. and usually you can hear em playing the newest records and such. compilations though, are usually pre-set with thier track selections and stuff.
