ya, only difference is that Guvernment has a sprinkler system and the ceiling is *much* higher.
Still, wouldn't want one those those guys with the torches on stilts falling on me...lol...that wouldn't be too funny.
Peter that almost happened to you @ Viva man. Ceiling was too low when that firework went off RIGHT above you. Hopefully they fixed that (I haven't seen anyhting since so I think they have). About the fire aspect...what kind of club doesn't have a sprinler system installed?!?! I mean common sense just die??

So I tune into CNN for a nightly dose of propaganda. But instead there is news of a "massive club fire".
Apparently the heavy metal rock group "Great White" were performing their first song. The Pyrotechnics were going off and ignited a massive fire. There is actual footage of this happening and later footage of the whole club engulfed in flames.
Current count is 93 in hospital 14 in critical condition. Full statistics are yet to be known as the drama is currently unfolding.
Another club tragedy it seems.
Yeah I heard about it too.Its a real shame. I also heard that the band didn't have the right to use the pyrotechnics in the first place. Either way, this is a real shame.

I'll bet everyone's parents are saying that. My mom freaked out but at least my dad paid enough attention to realize that the club in Chicago was ordered to shut down because it wasn't complying with the regulations.
96 people though, my god... just goes to prove the old adage I guess, play with fire and you're going to get burned...

how is viva set up in terms of sprinkler systems and such?
and I remember that big firework from Talla 2xlc.... it was cool, but maybe Viva shouldn't do it for awhile...
I hope something like this never happens again.

it wasn't that the ceiling was too low...i guess they just had the fireworks were just placed wrong or somethin; my shirt was a little ruined, but it's not like i caught fire...but OMG!! what if I did catch fire??? maybe I should write a complaint to NP about it, because it's obviously an accident waiting to happen
