Love Poundin' Sensation

My tastes are all over the place..
I listen to prog and trance the most, but I also listen to lots of 80s stuff..I love the New Wave sound; in particular I love Blondie! Debbie Harry is one of my idols, hahah
I listen to plenty of New Order, Lamb, Bjork, Fischerspooner and Pink Floyd as well.
I also like j-pop, especially Ayumi Hamasaki. I like Madonna's music..her old stuff is class, hehe And these past few months I've renewed my interest in the kind of music I listened to when I was like 11 years old...No Doubt (none of their new stuff however), Garbage...

I've discovered all these great bands recently-
Attaque 77, Veruca Salt, Descendents, Sleater-Kinney, The Donnas.

heh, I also have what some may call an unhealthy obsession with the Grease soundtrack

I love discovering new music...there is so much music out there that I want to hear but never really get round to finding; Sigur Ros, The Sugarcubes, Paris Combo....

Before I got into trance, I use to listen to ALOT of HK-Pop (Hong Kong pop) and classical every now and then...
Now however, Trance has practically taken over my life.
I am also an absolute classical freak and I've been listening to quite alot of jazz for the last year or two. Ambient is starting to grow on me too (can not stop listening to GU: Electric Calm!)
I listen to HK-pop/J-pop very rarely now, although anime music is still good good hehe
But @ any single time or place, there will be either a trance/classical/jazz playing song in my head. I can not bare to imagine my life without music.

P.S. U2 and especially Crowded House are pure quality rock-pop

most ta's hate hiphop but if you liked it before you like trance then its tolerable
i remember havin around 500 or so various hip hop and rnb songs at one stage and i think i gave up on it around the time my hard drive crashed due to a virus
probably a turnin point in my music taste but im sure if i listened to all the songs that i had then i would still like em
but i dont much like todays commercial hiphop i mean wtf is up with nellie and shit like that
man my girlfriend recently was heaps cut up cause i said i hate hiphop which is "a part of her"
damn i had a good laugh (inside that is)

i pride myself in having such an eclectic taste. i believe you would be selling yourself short if you restricted yourself to a particular genre. there is just too much good music out there!!!

Artists (non electronica) i could never get sick of hearing over and over and over and ...

The Cure
Smashing Pumpkins
Fleetwood Mac
Bob Dylan
and of course the Beatles.

trance is just one of the many genres of music i like...

i dont think theres any electronica that i dont like, altho too much DnB can do your head in after a while

as far as *conventional* music goes, i like everything from john williams (the classical guitarist not the composer) to jeff buckley to avril lavigne
