Vanilla Sky is a god-awful film riddled with Scientology undertones

Mulholland Drive is terrific as is Donnie Darko (which also has a great cover of Tears for Fears' "Mad World" by Gary Jules).

the spanish version is called "abre los ojos." open your eyes. hence the thing at the beginning of vanilla sky 'open your eyes.' basically, the director of vanilla sky hollywood-ized it, by adding some well known actors and made a lot of money off of it. from what i hear the director of abre los ojos is a genius.

I saw it when it first came out in the theatre man it sucked sorry!! it was hard to keep up with it one minute its like this then the next its totaly different!! THUMBS DOWN BABYYYYYYYYYYYYY..

i saw the one called abre los ojos (open your eyes) in like 97 or 98. really good movie, i also saw vanilla sky. almost exactly the same, very good too

Yeah i saw it in the theaters, really wierd movie but i enjoyed it alot some of the stuff tom cruise produced are pretty wierd.

this movie just tripped me out. it had such potential to be good but it was long and weird and made me cry (at how bad it was). keep this movie away from me!!!!
