IMO 75% of the people on here are like that. It's a good job that most of the 25% who arent are the ones i choose to speak to (ie. the ukta's).
You got your anti-cheese heads. Who call anything even remotely commercially sucessful cheese - out of the blue is cheese because people bought it. Some people take it to the extreme and would even call something cheese just because more than 500 copies were pressed.
You got your prog-heads. These people love prog and think that normal trance/hardhouse/hardtrance/house/techno, all the other electronic music genres, all the non electric music genres, and the people who listn to any of these genres are vastly inferior, should be looked down to, and made to feel small. However most (not all) of these people live in the Nowhereville, USA, and have never been to a club in there live, and probably never will as in 6 months their immense obsession will have lead to them going off prog and they will be back in to hacking again.
Then you got people who hate anything with 'hard' in the title These people make comments such as 'Hard house sucks donkey balls and is arse'. However they like more accessable tracks such as BK - Revolution - in this way they are to hard house/trance what DJ Sammy fans are to trance . Whatever your feeling on hard trance/house you gotta admit that anyone who is willing to put down an entire genre is small minded. Especially when anyone who says anything remotely criticle about any prog dj is flamed by them to death.
My message to you is: open your mnid to other music - and if you dont want to then dont go around critising entire genres - you dont want people critising your taste in music, do you? |
That's the most intelligent thing u ever said
I've been known to bash prog heads, mainly cos the first time i said it did nothing for me some unknown lamer told me that I wasn't fulfilled cos i wasn't into it, like it was some sort of higher religion

wow, youre making the same sweeping generalizations as the genre snobs...good job. where is nowhereville usa? cause last time i checked most of the people on this site werent from the us...
tis true about the music shit tho. most people judge a style on one or two tracks they hear, and assume all of it is the same, and in fact shameful. shwatever. nobody will ever have the exact same taste in music as you, but if you can appreciate all music for what its worth it saves you some grief.
or something...
