me too, I hope it's not Metal Gear Solid (unless its MGS3).

This was the first game I bought for my ps2 and I must say it´s booooooring.. I hate it... played it 5 times or something.. now a friend has it.. the only game I play is FF-X thats really good.. =)

It's official, It will be a remake of Metal Gear Solid. And the name for the GC will be: Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes!! . Silicon Knights makes the game togheter with Kojima and Shigeru Miyamoto!!! The first screens and further info will be given at E3!

I had a feeling that Konami wasn't going to create a completely different game. I too heard that the original playstion version of Metal Gear Solid was going to be recreated for the PS2 and Gamecube.

I'm kinda dissappointed cause I played Metal Gear Solid 1 for Playstation many many many times. I'll still get the Cube remake though. Some people told me that it's going to come out on PS2 and Xbox as well, but I seriously doubt that a game in which Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto and their own 2nd-party development studio SK are porting it with Kojima+Konami.

Also, strong rumours are flying around that Metal Gear Solid 3 may be unvealed at E3 as well. Kojima said that they will be ready to unveil it very soon, but didn't specify when, or for which console.

Unfortunately, i highly thought that konami would make a whole new MGS game from scratch. since all their resourses is concentrated towards MGS:The Patriots. but iam sure this remake will be excellent.
