a djs worst enemy is shitty monitors

i like them right beside me pointed towards my head (sounds the same if they're on the ground on an upward angle, or if they're on a stand)

i can't stand when the monitors are above my head (like attached to the ceiling or something)

i played out this weekend and one thing i noticed is that when i cut the bass and brought in a new bass line at the same time i had to fuck with the Eqs because it was always to overpowering and might sound like shit.
