Due to limited hard drive space, I have to listen to everything I download so I can decide to either get rid of it or make room.
It's a bit of a pain, but I end up with quality over quantity.

even tho i like to get my hands and ear on all the new stuff as soon as possible
i AM an archiving wh0re, hahah... i dunno why... i always download entire albums... even if i only like half the songs... there's something unsettling about an incomplete album...

ha ha, yeah, that pisses me off too.
i burn almost everything i download (except for really bad rips with clicks and shit ... see my signature). you never know when your tastes may change and something you don't like now, you will like in the future.

yup im definetly an archiving whore. i made a playlist of all the songs on my harddrive a couple months ago and it was over 1700. add my CDs of mp3s i will never listen to cause a ton of them are ripped internet radio and i probably have about 2500. i often wonder why i keep them if i dont listen to them..i dunno some people collect stamps, i collect music
i usually only listen to newer stuff, once something gets put on my neat foldered organized drive its usually forgotten, what a shame

I burn alot of stuff and listen to it during classes with my mp3cd player. I also listen to stuff when I'm driving and while studying. My roommate makes fun of me cause I always have my headphones on.
I do this exact same thing. Sometimes I listen to about 6 hours of music a day.

Yes this is me - I have now created a 'new downloads' folder that I make sure I listen to.
7 GB worth of MP3's so far, with at least 50 GB to fill up yet!

Its also unsettling to not have the full release of something, i.e if I have one mix of a song I need to have the otherside of it as well, one weekend I should probably listen to everything and get rid of the bad stuff :P

When I dl a song a listen to and decide if I want to keep it or not. So I don't really have a bunch of songs I don't listen to, but I do notice that one week all I might listen to is cosmic gate then it'll be dumonde, flutlicht.
