I don't see anything bad in PVD playing different styles of music. Music is evolving constantly and I think we would be bored listening to the same beats or breakdowns over and over again. Don't get me wrong, I love trance, but some techno or breaks is not bad after all.
People are saying that Oakey is bad because he changed his style, but look at Tiesto...he is playing techno and progressive beats too...and he is number 1 right now...
anyways, that is my 2c....

KEEP IT FUNKY!!!!!

Where did you get the parts II and III??? Post a link please, because my ears and my brain had a nice conference call and decided that so far this set ownz, with brain insisting on hands and eyes doing their best to scout the remaining parts of this set. Brain was also issuing some other nasty comments in your direction which hands refused to deliver due to harsheness and vulgarity of the message.

Anyway, post a link for those 2 parts, that's the least you can do to redeem yourself for that bad, bad, naughty comment in your previous post. Of course, I respect your opinion, though...

Dude that's just how PVD plays. He'll play more chill while on the radio usually, his Fritz show is all kinds of music. Everytime he does a radio spot though it's always that style, this 3 hour set is exactly what I expected...same as usual. When he plays for a crowd he really hammers you, this is the PVD people would most like to see but you can only catch in person.

This is a beautiful, flawless, long awaited set by IMO the #1 dj in the world!
