The residents ruined that night unfortunately. Not to mention it being completely over packed and Passion forgetting to inform people that he was playing for 2 hours and not 3.

It's all down to personal taste tho... just a shame u obviously have none!

the only tune JFK played which can be classed as hard house is the beats renegade remix of good god, which is class. how the hell can anyone compaire jfk to john kelly? wtf u on? john kelly plays tracks are like -5, slow, empty, boring, jfk's mixing maybe abit of the old crossfader but u cant deny his tracks are tune after tune after tune. and jfk saved that night, van dyk was utter pants and if he wasnt for jfk coming on after and playing as mad as he did, we'd have all gone home in a right mardy. passion was overfull ill agree, they said that it didnt sell past its capacity, so either theyre lieing or whoever said 2400 people can fit comfortably in the emporium needs his measuring tape checking.

All down to opinion at the end of the day, and in mine Jfk plays cheesy hard trance tunes that do my nut in. I prefer proper trance ( JOOF, Armin, PVD etc) over that style.

His set after to me was just dire, and he even had the cheek to play For an Angel. One other of his tunes sounded like it was straight off Trance Nation Future!

Anyway, all personal taste. PVD floats some peoples boats, others hate him. Like with Picotto, Oakey, JOOF etc..

Si

when it comes down to it, JFK and PvD are both a bit shit
JFK with the shit mixing and the shit tunes
PvD with the shit mixing, average tunes, and making gay little reworks and ruining other peoples work

Everyone is entilted to their own opinion but I seriously disagree, PVD is consistently one of the best trance DJ's in the world and has been for the past few years. His mixing is quality I heard him last week and it was spot on, he concentrates fully throughout his set on the mixing and it is top drawer. Which reworks do you not like in particulat Az?

i think the wavy gravy remix speaks for them all. and he was absolute gash at passion the other month, every single person who went said how he bored the club with the tpod and global cd speed and style of music, thats nice yeah, but not in a club when your high as a kite

When I saw him, he fucked up every other mix for nearly 90 minutes
the flow and structure of his set was utter shite
he played Ferry Corsten - Punk so fast I didnt even recognise it (and I'd been practicing my mixing with it earlier in the day)

reworks that are shamful:
Madonna - What it feels like for a Girl
took Above and Beyonds classic, put a gay bassline on it, and made the synths dull as dishwater

Spacefrog - Follow Me
removed the vocals, which are what makes the track. Wouldn't mind as much, but he did it with a shit mix

Sasha - Wavy Gravy
Desecrated a masterpiece by putting a gay bassline on it
somethings aren't meant for clubs
this is one of them

Well i for one was not bored at Passion when he was playing! well not until JFK came on anyway and played a cheese filled set.

You can't pick out a few odd remixes and call him shite when he's done hundreds!

10 in 01
Binary Finary
Synethsyia ( sp)
Marco V - I feel you
Cream
Nothing But you

and thats just straight off the top of my head.

I like 10 in 01
Binary Finary is only good cos of the melody, nearly all the other mixes are better
I like synaesthesia (prefer en motion mix)
Don't like I feel You
Cream is good
Vandit club mix of Nothing but you is good, but only cos it sounds like Arctic
