I had fun too. Meeting up with the TA's at Amir was kewl.
When we hit the coffee shop I also succumbed to peer pressure and had some coffee. I didn't know how to order ('cuz I've never had coffee before) so I just said "I'll have what he's having". It had something to do with vanilla and it wasn't bad.
When we hit Aria I listened to the 35 minute-long song before Ferry hit the decks. Ferry played some badass tunes. At one point he dropped like 15 consecutive UNREAL tunages and I thought it was going to be the best set ever. But he did throw a little prog and stuff in that was good, yet not as enjoyable as the trance.
One thing I thought was funny was our buddy trying to dictate what tunes were gonna be played to Ferry. hahaha (you know who you are). I tried to get Ferry to play Rank 1 - Breathing 'cuz I saw it on his CD collection. All Ferry did was rub his chin then lick his fingers (wtf?). He pulled the CD out as if to book mark it, but he never came back to it --prolly 'cuz the tunes were to hard to go back and mix into Breathing.
The worst part of the night was both on the way up to montreal and on the way home. On the way up we were playing with glowsticks in the car, and Alec's was "malfunctioning" (for lack of a better term). So he starts bending it 180 degrees and says "it's working". My stick was only glowing a little bit so I bent mine 45 degrees and the fucking thing broke. Glow stick everywhere! My pants looked like Monica Lewinski's dress after they passed an ultraviolet light over it. On the way home it was bad because I was so tired! I kept falling asleep, but I would wake up just as I was about to drool all over myself. hahah
All in all it was a great night, but I think the Ferry set from September (or was it October?) was better.
