i disagee... bashing is a form of criticism... i understand if you're saying that simply saying someone sucks is different from saying someone sucks and saying why he or she sucks... but this is besides the point...

you're gonna get bashed.. stop whining...

LOL that is some funny stuff, this is why i respect ALL producers because eventhough you think the track is shit or "cheese", it's making some people happy at the same time.

I was pointing out that deejays want to know what you think of their works...and I mentioned it in .00005 of my posts. I have only met Luke Fair, Hybrid and Sander Kleinenberg. All have asked what I thought about their set, album or productions to prove my point that deejays like feedback.

But if you look at it another way...maybe all the bashing is what the industry needs. It pushes producers/DJs to try harder. Bashing is good to a certain extent but sometimes it does get out of hand.

It's nice to know that the producers/DJs take us, the listeners, comments to heart.

i totally agree with armin. there's just too much bandwagon jumping and too little respect. i might not like what tiesto is playing or how he's mixing, but i'm not gonna call him a shithead because of it. i still have RESPECT for him, and he'll still be one of my top 3 all-time favorite djs.

one of the reasons i like trance, is because i can somewhat escape all the stuff about listening to certain stuff because it's popular to do so. i can listen to what i like without being influenced by others. but, with the amount of new people we're getting, it's impossible sometimes to shelter myself from all the commercializm that's going on. people don't look at the bigger picture anymore - one trainwreck, and they're calling a dj a wanker.

aren't we, the electronica fans, supposed to be some of the most understanding and open-minded music addicts? instead, we're the opposite of that, constantly forcing our opinions onto others.
