i totally agree with armin. there's just too much bandwagon jumping and too little respect. i might not like what tiesto is playing or how he's mixing, but i'm not gonna call him a shithead because of it. i still have RESPECT for him, and he'll still be one of my top 3 all-time favorite djs.
one of the reasons i like trance, is because i can somewhat escape all the stuff about listening to certain stuff because it's popular to do so. i can listen to what i like without being influenced by others. but, with the amount of new people we're getting, it's impossible sometimes to shelter myself from all the commercializm that's going on. people don't look at the bigger picture anymore - one trainwreck, and they're calling a dj a wanker.
aren't we, the electronica fans, supposed to be some of the most understanding and open-minded music addicts? instead, we're the opposite of that, constantly forcing our opinions onto others.
