Who cares whether or not its just an attempt to sell more records. If someone could use a few extra bucks, than let them release something, even if it sucks. But until you here this stuff, I'd give deep dish, sander etc the benifit of the doubt.

Prick.
P.Diddy has never had ANY ideas of his own - he looks for what's cool at the moment and then jumps on the bandwagon.
This is the guy who raped The Police and Led Zeppelin FFS.
I don't really care if "underground" acts remix or collaborate with "pop" acts but P.Diddy is just a tool.
well i havent heard the track, but i do have to say i agree that the Timberlake Deep Dish remix was huge. commercial tunes can be remixed tastefully, and that remix kept the Neptunes feel, while making it even more danceable.
i dont think sander k is heading commercial tho. he was approached to put vocals on My Lexicon and refused - that says it all. he had already remixed Destinys Child supposedly, tho i havent heard that.

The points of the the post were:
a) for someone to dismiss a track that they've never even heard simply because it's collaborated with someone they don't really like very much is stupid.
and
b) currently it's much more bandwagon to hate p. diddy and think anything of his sucks than to like him or at least give the tune a chance.
That would make the post I was responding to both narrow-minded and hypocritical.
I used a curse word to get his attention, big deal. You can stop crying now.

i havent heard this remix of deep dish but they do good shit! personally i love alotta pop remixes lol.. even Junior Vasqeuz & hex hector stuff i dunno something about them makes them so danceable. but i think its quite hard for prog artists to sell out doing pop remixes just b/c theyve always got the dark twisted sound in them that most mainstreamers dont really care for. i think its easier for like trance artists to sell out so to speak when remixing pop artists just cuz its alot more radio friendly, if u get what im saying
*Lamya - Empires (Sander K Audio Paranoid Mix)
*Dido - Thank You (Deep Dish Remix)
*N'Sync - Pop (Deep Dish Remix)
*U2 - Staring At The Sun (BiR Mix)
*Garbage - Special / Breaking Up The Girl (BiR Mixes)
*Placebo - Every You, Every Me / Passive Agressive (BiR Mixes)
*Janet Jackson - If (BiR Mix)
*Billy Ray Martin - Imitation Of Life (Bir Mixes)
*Madonna - Drowned World (Substitute For Love) [Sasha & BT Mix)
*Madonna - Nothing Really Matters (Club 69 Mix)(Kruder &Dorfmiester mix)
*Nelly Furtado - I'm Like a Bird (Junior Vasquez Earth Mix)
*Cold Play - Trouble (Lost Witness Remix)
*Alanis Morissette - In Your House / So Pure (Hybrid Mixes)
*Sarah McLachlan - Hold On / I Love You (BT Mixes)
*Jennifer Lopez - Play (Rui Da Silva Remix)
all of them are truely quality kick ass songs.

Didn't Above & Beyond produce Madonna's last album, or was it the album before last?

Nah - the main two people behind Ray of Light and Music were William Orbit and Mirwais. The only thing Madonna-related that Above & Beyond have done is the remix of What It Feels Like For A Girl which, if you didn't know, was used for the video instead of the original track.
Regarding the topic, I see no problem in an artist doing something commercial if the end result is still decent. In the end I either like a track or I don't. Mind you, however good the Deep Dish track is, P. Diddy is obviously still a tit.
