Hrmm, I don't know of any that are both uplifting AND hard, but check out Subway Baby - Tribes of Khan Gala + remixes for some hard/dark prog.

Uplifting/hard progressive? That's a pretty narrow category, if there even is one. I usually support subgenres, but that's a reeeeal stretch.

I second James Holden - Horizons
Sasha - Cloud Cuckoo (Luke Chable Mix) is by no measure 'hard' but uplifting as far as prog goes.
Bedrock - Heaven Scent, but, uh, everyone knows that
Praha pres. Xian - Pachinko, but that's tribal progressive with an uplifting tinge

Other than that, I really don't have a very good idea what you're asking for.

Oh, and Conjure One - Redemption (Max Graham's Dead Sea Mix).

The only artist I can think of that even vaguely matches the description "uplifting/hard progressive" is Max Graham.
