that reason alone is enough to go for the 275

yeah because of this mixer I'll never buy vestax again. the channel volume sucks dick i hate it. if one volume fader is all the way up, when ever your trying to bring in the secord table volume you cant really hear it until its about 4/5 of the way up. Unlike the pioneer which you can start hearing at about 2/5 of the way up.

I don't know if this is the case with the vestax 175, but if your mixer is SOMEWHAT decent it will have a way of changing the amount of changement while moving the fader.

Yo BK...

The club I play at used to have a DJM 500,,, they replaced it with the new Pioneer 3000. I've only used it a couple times so far,,, but I think it's decent. Not sure on the price either,,, but it's most likely cheaper than the 500. Also,,, I might be able to get you the old 500 for dirt cheap,,, it just need a few repairs I think. PM me or hit me on my e-mail [email protected]

peace.

B_K the only mixer I've used extensively is the DJM 500.Its performance is awesome.....fantastic EQ,great sound and a whole lotta usable effects.Very sturdy too.I cant believe it hasn't been anybody's choice in this whole thread.

well, he asked for best MID priced mixer, and personally, i'd call the DJM 500 more of a high priced one. anything over 1000 i would consider high priced, over 2k would be very high.

I have the Behringer VMX300 and its actually really nice. Everythings very smoothe and i havn't had a problem w/it yet. It's not the best, but for the money, its great. I got mine new for about $140.

stanton or citronic mixer?

Hey i'm a beginner dj and I just want to know whether I should get a Stanton RM-3S or the Citronic DJ Pro mixer? I heard that these mixers are pretty okay for the beginner ( i don't want a welfare one).....or should i get something else that's around this price range?!

I wouldn't say they are well known for their mixers. They've only been in the DJ mixer market for 2 years.
I bought a Behringer DJ mixer once. I will NEVER buy a behringer dj mixer again. That's all I have to say.
