the accent in souther sun automatically disarms it from the shackles of lameness =p its taken a while for me to grow a lil fond of venus, with southern sun it was immediate so *shrug*

Paulie (Euphorica) and I have been discussing what song is better. Southern Sun (Tiesto mix) Or Venus (Tiesto Mix).
Its up to the wigga posse to settle this one.
Plummet - Damaged is better

in terms of tiesto's mixes most definately Southern Sun, I'm sorry to say but the tiesto mix of Venus abolutely SUCKS ! the Outstanding mix of Venus is like a trillion times better. *puts flame jacket on*

oakenfold, the same man who decided to remake "the prophet" to make some $$$ and make everyone think he's cool. Whatever.
Tiesto, yes.
Oakenfold, who lets Andy Gray do most of his productions for him...lame.

Put me in the Southern Sun camp as well - that first rip we all had of it (from Dutch Dimension) is probably my most-played MP3 ever (and the first MP3 I downloaded onto this computer)

OK to answer the question i think Southern Sun shits all over Venus.
I mean when i first heard Southern Sun in the club my heart literally stopped for a moment cause of the beauty of the vocals...NO SONG has ever done that before.
When i heard Venus it was just a TOO SIMILAR VOCAL WORK than any other vocal trancer, it's the HYPE that causes this kind of controversy.

C'mon people, lets be serious. Southern Sun is officially the song of 2002 and i doubt Venus will even make nominations for song of 2003.
Ask this question 12 months from now and 90% of you will say SS.
