I believe that their reasoning is that you can spend $45,000 for a world class DJ to spin a few hours or you can spend it on several DJ's with enough pocket change left over to make the presentation itself nothing less than world class.
Sharing a huge blanket in the middle of a field with about 7 friends while Scott Henry was spinning DB Boulevard's "Point of View" was more than worth the price of admission. That 50,000 watt laser damn sure looked like it was going to set the treeline on fire too

What's the line up?
they only have a date. I think I'm gonna make this. I went to the first Starscape in '99 (or '00?), and it reminded me of the parties in '95 in Seattle. Dancing til the sun came up, and then having someone drop insane tracks at 6:00 AM knowing that you can muster more energy to dance some more. At Starscape, it was Scott Henry. In Seattle, it was Donald Glaude at the NAF.
I've grown out of alot of parties but there are few that will always make me go.
Line up anyone?

I was not a big fan of any of the djs that spun last year - with the exception of Scott Henry. A friend convinced me to go and I had a blast. Ultraworld throws the best parties. I loved watching the sunrise during Scott Henry's set.
You should check it out if you can

Yeah, Ultraworld always throws the best parties. Everyone of their Armory parties are insane. The size and production put into it makes people come back every year.
I think I'm draggin' my friends out for this then. TA blanket in the woods! Maybe we can get lost in the small forest. haha

man look at that shitty ass lineup for this year.. every year it gets progressively worse.. i went back in 2000 or 99 .. OMFG it was insane$% then the next year.. less and less exciting.. then the last startscape with the lasers and shit.. they just began to sell out.. like over half of those djs are locals. i know most of them.. i mean 40$ for that shit is rediculous! unless someone is gonna hoox me up w/ dr00gz but im sure theres mad undercovers there.. blarg.. f tha p0l1c3
