thats downright pathetic and digusting; on both the Montrwalers part for booing, and Americans for booing our anthem and flag when our soldier got killed because of them.

I think I'm gonna take back most of the things I've said about Americans. I regret saying stuff like they're respectful and intelligent people when they do shit like that (i totally forgot about he booing at the Detroid vs Toronto game a while back, and the many other occasions they'd booed our anthem).

Surprisingly, the Toronto fans have some class. Our city is known for having some harsh and critical fans (especially when it comes to hockey), but hey, at least they got respect

I read in the Toronto Star, that Montreal fans booed the american anthem at some sporting event, is that true?

in all fairness to montrealers.. the last game they played, against carolina I think, there were a few people who started booing but the boos were quickly drowned by cheers at the end.

yes that is true, even if there is booing even in the US it is only a small minority of the people, and most of the people are good.

Booing the anthem, now thats just poor. Yes there are stupid americans that probably have booed the canadian anthem but why would you ever ant to be anything like the typical american? Shit i am american. i know and love both america and canada. i know the canadian anthem and do sing it when in canada. We are not all bad. Many of us love you canadians. I think it is disgusting that in a period of time where being an individual is so important i am looked down on for my citzenship. Know me before you boo me. Congrats to montreal!!!!!!!! your now on a freedom fry level!!!! and i also think that is the stupidest thing i have ever see.

I wasn't even remotely surprised when I heard of this. Montreal hockey fans have been spoiled for decades yet no fans are quicker to boo their own team. I thought I'd seen it all when a fan threw a banana at Kevin Weeks but they continue to sink to new lows (booing the anthem). I won't bash the city too much though because I have a hockey tourney there in a month and its a great place to party.
