i've never been into euro. I used to think that euro WAS dance music, so I used to say things like "i hate dance music." When i hear old euro it reminds me of really boring sunday afternoons when i would watch electric circus (remember when it was filmed fduring the day?)and eat Kraft dinner because my friends wouldn't play with me
Troubled childhood, eh?

I still listen to the Classics. Like E-Rotic (the original pair), Modo, Scooter (first Album Ruled but I classify that as rave music), Real Mcoy and who can forge the ORIGINA remix from DJ Mico of "What's up". . Also "Swamp thing" and "Texas Cowboy" from the Grid.

I started to listen to 2 Unlimted, Moby and Scotter in late 80s/early 90s.... Back then they were considered 'rave' music, and then in 93 or 94 they were labed 'euro'.
I still have a few old 'euro' complilations CDs with urban cookie collective and similar groups. I used to go the warehouse when Chris Sheppard had all-ages saturdays (way before the goverment). This was the same time I started going to Atlantis rave parties and Destiny rave parties.
Euro still has a place in my heart. It's light, uncomplicated fist pumping music.
I think the reason why I'm such a HUGE fan of uplifting / epic trance is becuase of my euro roots. Not to say that I don't enjoy goa (astral projection, etc) and hard trance, but for me nothing picks me up like an uplifting trance track (look at my profile for my favorite DJs and you'll see what I mean).
Dark Dirty Tech Tribal. | Hands in air (trance) and feet on the floor (house).

I'm still a huge fan of Dj Mystik. It may be cheesy but puts me in a good mood. Always!

since so many of us were/are into euro .. it really tells you a lot about a trance lover's roots ..
personally i've always considered trance to be an evolution of euro.. with much less vocals..
