trance all the way, with some maby electro and a tad of prog trance slapped in some of this sets

the breaks that pvd is playing now isn't really representative of the genre at all. imo of course. there is a lot more to it than what pvd plays. if you're going to get into breaks, don't do it by what pvd plays, because he is primarily a trance dj. download some breaks on your own and see if you like it or not.

PvD plays everything! He is known for playing trance primarly BUT lately he's just exploring everything. His HrXXL set went from progressive house to breaks to trance and then some hard trance. Mark of a good DJ is that you don't get stuck doing one thing.

that krafty kuts remix of santos is pretty nice though! i bought that right when it came out. cool to see pvd playing it.

but yeah, there's lots of trancy breaks being produced right now. ils, chris cowie, grayarea, evilnine, infusion, even freeland...
