Per disc it only costs about 5-10 cents more to burn something dual-layer compared to single-layer. So (going by the average mass-manufacturing DVD costs in the US), it would cost around $10US to manufacture 10 dual-layer DVDs (although it will probably need 11 by the time this comes out. Dual-Layer DVDs hold 8.85GB, not exactly double of a single-layer). It would cost around $18 to create 20 single-layer DVDs. |
you could make the dvds dual sided, i think everybody forgot about that, it would cut the number of discs in half
