I guess we better see what happens after the US tried to place that temporary government.. SET UP by the US administration, let's see let's see.. and then WE can come back and clear this argument, since we both stand in 2 different points on this one.

Of course moderate governments (Jordan, Pakistan, Egypt) would do best to take care of militants, regardless of what the US wants, because these hardline forces are the force trying to overthrow their governments.

Egypt also deserves praise for cracking down on militant radicals.

Fastmp3: I was being mean. If you saw the other thread, I explained how the 72 virgins are really raisins. I apologize.

Do you really think that Egypt 100% voluntarily decided to crack down on militants? You think that Hosni Mubarak is going to get off his fat ass to wage "the war on terrorism"? Oh please, since when is Egypt the good guy?

Yes perhaps you're correct. Egypt doesn't need 1.5 billion dollars in "help". We do more bad than good right? So I agree, Egypt can stop sucking up to us for whatever good that does and we can stop paying them

Well, hey look at it this way....

Can you imagine how many American schools, books, teachers etc. 1.5 billion could buy?? Let's hope Egypt stops sucking up. Of course with Repubs in control of the gov, that would all go to their rich friends as tax cuts....

fast: You can slap him all you want and I won't mind....
He might shoot you though since he carries a gun to kill binLaden when he finds him.
